Information about the PGP Utility

PGP is an encryption program which can be used to protect
computer files and email from prying eyes, and also to
securely electronically signature an email message so that
the recipient can be confident that both the content and
author of the email are genuine.

For Corporate or Government users, you can get a fully
licensed version of PGP for use in the USA or Canada,
by contacting Pretty Good Privacy Inc. (formerly ViaCrypt)
at "http://www.pgp.com".  ViaCrypt PGP is fully compatible
with the freeware version of PGP.


Information about Export Control Regulations
============================================

The U.S. Government may impose export restrictions on the
distribution of PGP and PGPFONE outside of the U.S.A. and Canada.
Therefore, if you are connected to our website from outside
of Canada and the United States you should not download these
programs, as you may be in violation of US Government
export control regulations.



COMMAND-PROMPT VERSION
======================
If you don't have a copy of PGP, it is available from
numerous places, both on the Internet and from various BBS
sites.  We are also making it available here.  The link
provided here will download the 'international' version
of PGP, '2.6.i(1)'.  The PGP program is compressed in a
PKZIP file, and is approximately 257 KB in size.  You will
need a copy of the PKZIP utility to extract the software.


WINDOWS-INTERFACE VERSION
=========================
This is version 6.52.a - which is the 'international' version.
In additional to ALL key-types generation capabilities, it
provides complete integration with popular email software such
as Eudora.
